Shiny…
April 30th, 2010

Is it wrong for me to want to but a perfume I’ve never smelled based solely on it pinkness and shininess? I realize its probably idiotic but the sparkly glam of this bottle is really sucking me in. I’m like a human fish. So I will be waking up early tomorrow and rushing to Macy’s (ok, walking slowly its only 2 blocks) to smell and hopefully fall in love with Very Hollywood by Michael Kors. True, the name is kinda lame. But what if your first name were Holly? Mine isn’t, mine is City. That was purely conjecture. Anywho, is it wrong to but perfume just for its looks? How is this different than buying bathroom art? At $65 its way chaper than a painting, and its shinier!

It is cute bathroom art, for anyone named Holly. Good that your name is City, there are endless items with city as part of their name. I think you are on to something.
So pretty and feminine! My husband would never let me put it in the bathroom
I thought the EXACT same thing! Was obsessed with the bottle, like Project Runway, thought it was a shoe-in. But the fragrance? Not so much my style. Hopefully it will be a better fit for you! And any hypothetical Holly’s out there.
Clearly it is being purchased for decorating a guest bath, right? So, if your name is Holly, the scent does not matter because it is going to be used as art, and not for the scent. Buy it now.
Turns out this smells a lot like Mr. Bubble and the pink on the lid is much brighter than it appears in the picture.
me too, I loved the bottle, hated the name, hated the ads and felt ok about the scent. but buying perfumes for the bottle is 100% ok I think
