Essence of Breakfast Treat

I just noticed that Jo Malone has a new scent that sounds perfect for a vanilla loving person like me- vanilla anise, in my mind this smells like stella doro anisette toast, one of the greatest grocery store cookies, I mean breakfast treats, of all time! Did you know that you get free shipping on the Jo Malone site, and free samples? I love that.

That’s your favorite grocery store cookie? I prefer those Jules Destrooper wafer thin almond cokies in the blue and white box with the pretty font. Mmmmmm. Altho, I’m not an anise fan.

Um, I can’t respond to the pirouettes/ines question, but I like those almod thins too! but to me they are more of a specialty import cookie than a true grocery store cookie, like my mom would buy the stella doros in our extremely regular suburban grocery store in the 80’s. also I said one of the. I have a LOT of unnecessary opinions about grocery store cookies, don’t get me started. don’t even get me started.
