Hold Please

Hi Everybody;  You’ll be happy to know that CityMouse and I are still alive and kicking.  I have been performing some majorly time consuming and life altering duties recently (good ones), the results of which will be announced at a later date, and which are exciting but have robbed me of all time or will to shop online.  Seriously I haven’t even ordered my holiday cards and I have a three year old relatives are clamoring to see.  Clearly I have no business having a blog right now.   So we decided to take a hiatus for the holidays.  Oh and if you miss us terribly we are doing a guest post over at Prada on December 22.  Oh my gosh I just went over there and Karen’s guest post series looks so great! Big Fat Belt

I used to really resent the cost of belts, you know how sometimes they are 50, 100, 200 dollars, what the heck! But recently I obtained a belt that is changing my mind, because I really feel it gives me a certain air when I wear it, the air of a person who has selected the clothes they are wearing for a specific reason, not just because they were clean and non-wrinkled.  Here it is:  

It is faux leather and has a grosgrainy ruffle top and bottom.   It is only $18.90! They have a lot of good belts on sale at Nordstrom, I now have my eye on this camel one, $33.90.
