When I was in college during the "preppy" era of the late 1970's, there was a certain group of women who carried their books in B&T bags (probably a carry over from sailing weekends.) I have two bigs ones that I use for groceries that must be 15 years old and are still going strong. I also have a zip-top version that I had monogramed with "STUFF" that I use for schlepping to and from work. Okay, the B&T dress is cute, but not $292 cute! Maybe next season they'll put a version out in a Simplicity pattern... I’m a great fan of B&T bags.
